These are two dog portraits I did, of Roxy and Addie (in that order).  They were really fun! (charcoal)

These are projects I did for my Drawing I class at MassArt, the first being a self portrait (done with as little photo reference as possible) and the second is an example of what stacked space looks like in a composition (the faces on the bottom two corners are me).

First, a little bit about myself - my name is Nicole Amidon, I come from the humble land of Great Barrington nestled in the heart of the Berkshire countryside in western Massachusetts.  I've drawn all my life and am currently enrolled at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and I'm going into Animation.  Hopefully after I graduate I'll be up there at Disney making some awesome movies.

Anyway, this summer I'm drawing portraits on the streets of Great Barrington.  I'll upload some samples to this blog, as well as other work I've done over the years or am currently working on.  I also do portraits of pets, children, family, friends, houses, cars - really if you have any ideas, I am open to them.
